Iam not ccp and dont know what there thinking but something tells me after patch day with the new reworked kill rights if you have kill rights before the patch youll have them after makeing it much funner to hunt the SOB that ganked/t tryed ganking you.
As for the Bounty system you should read how it payouts will work.
Your first question is a good one but the story of the ibis pilot would not have kill rights on the Hero for the fact idiis was flaged and red to the hero and was shot legal now yes you can put a bounty have a pilot per the new system but as for the kill rights the ibis pilot is SOL. So reread the post from ccp on the new kill right system and bountys so you have a better clue how it works before opening a post that you clear have no idea what your talking about.

Who doesn't know what they are talking about? I never said a thing about bounties. This has nothing to do with bounties at all. Pricing your killrights is independent of the bounty system. Man... you have no idea wtf you are talking about. If somebody kills you in empire for stealing a wreck, you get a killright. Stealing from cans is not an "act of aggression", and while CONCORD doesn't intervene, you still get a killright. But no really, thanks for your insight.
No you dont get kill right so stealing a can you get a flag. You only get kill rights of your illegely attacked. So reread the post. If your steal a can and get poped for it that a legel kill no kill right coming from your ibis loss

I need to look into this ^ I thought you got a killright if you were killed from stealing from cans but some people are telling me no...
Nope kill right only come into play if your illlegaly attack if your flaged and red your a legel target if you flag and lose your ship no kill rights for the flaged player. |
